Apartment Campanile, as well as the other apartments on the second floor of Palazzo Bernardini, which once formed one very large apartment, was home to Ercole Pignatelli, a well know Italian artist born in Lecce in 1935. Pignatelli’s works are exposed in the city Castle. The large sculpture that you will see when arriving in Lecce by car from Brindisi is Pignatelli’s artwork.
